THOUGHTS
Where is my MIND? Where is my HEART? This is the
critical question of ETERNITY!
Each of us intends to take care of our heart. The DILIGENCE is the
problem!
Prov 4:23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it [flow] the springs of life.
Rom 8:5-6 For those who are according to the flesh set
their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the
Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is
death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
1John 2:15-17 Do not love the world nor the things in the
world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of
the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is
from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts;
but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
Col 3:1-4 Therefore if you have been raised up with
Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the
right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3
For you
have died and your life
is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life,
is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no
longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
If I’m to “be about my Father’s business”, I must have my Father’s heart!
Focus today
on having the heart of God and the mind of Jesus. Labor to be consciously aware!
My Prayer:
We see your heart Oh God and your awesome being displayed. We want to be
like you and like Jesus. Create in us a clean heart, and renew a right
spirit within us. We desire to live in the joy of your salvation.
Thank you for hope in Christ Jesus. We pray always in his name.
Amen
